As Robert Forster put it, it was almost certainly the only show in the band’s career captured on 24-track, 2-inch analogue tape, with a mobile truck parked beside the venue.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThat rare setup shaped the performance. Rather than a typical Go-Betweens set, the band used the chance to document four sides of vinyl with a more adventurous running order. The result is a genuine one-off show, driven by what Forster called their “wild intent”.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese remastered Beggars Banquet releases are available on vinyl individually for the first time in over 30 years, alongside CD editions.
