Released in 2013, Sunset Blvd. was the debut album from Detroit hip-hop duo Yancey Boys who consisted of Illa J (the younger brother of the late, great producer J Dilla) and Frank n Dank’s Frank Nitt. Based around posthumously uncovered beats composed by Dilla, who had passed away several years before, it featured guest bars from rap heavyweights like Common, Talib Kweli and De La Soul’s Posdnuos.
