Jungle return just in time to catch the end of summer. Following the huge success of their debut album the duo swapped their native London for the warmer climes of Los Angeles. The change of scenery has given new LP For Ever an additional sun-kissed feel that builds on their established blue-eyed-funk sound. Two of "For Ever’s" prime cuts are issued on wax here courtesy of XL.
The first track here, “Heavy, California” is a brightly coloured, disco-influenced, slightly psychedelic journey into bliss. Meanwhile “Cherry” is a spare and beautiful slow jam. Jungle are nothing if not original.
