Karen O & Danger Mouse - LUX Prima (2024 Edition Vinyl)
First reissue since its initial release in 2019 of this great album by Yeah Yeah Yeah's vocalist Yeahs, Karen O, and Danger Mouse, one of the most influential artists/producers of the 21st century.
Lux Prima, which left in March 2019, was hailed by Pitchfork as a moving and dreamy collaboration. It included the single "Woman," which was accompanied by a memorable live performance directed by Spike Jonze on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The single was also nominated for the Grammy for Best Rock Performance.
The new deluxe packing includes the original artwork plus a 16-page booklet that highlights its interactive exhibition "An Encounter with Lux Prima," held at the Marciano Arts Foundation in Los Angeles and featuring a 360-degree soundscape of the album mixed at the famous Skywalker Ranch.
