We only sell new records, we don't do second hand. We also do not sell bootlegs.
All our vinyl is black, unless stated otherwise. We state if vinyl is coloured and/or limited.
If vinyl is available to order on our website, we have stock at our Collingwood shop.
If we are out of stock, we suggest you fill out the Notify Me section on the product page and we'll email/text you when we get more stock in.
Vinyl pre-order release dates are subject to change, we will update our website when dates change. We don't notify when release dates are pushed back. If you pre-order an item, click on the image in the confirmation email and it will send you to our website for the most up-to-date information we have.
We do same day click and collect 11-5 each day at our Collingwood shop. We don't do holds.
We securely pack all our vinyl in our custom made vinyl mailers, all vinyl is also wrapped in bubble wrapped.
Vinyl pricing can and does fluctuate. We source 90% of our collection from outside Australia, so currency conversions and freights costs vary country to country. Also record labels sometimes increase their wholesale pricing rapidly. We price our vinyl based on the invoices we receive from each individual suppliers.

Vinyl Records Returns
Any records which are returned faulty will be checked on our instore turntable. If we are not able to reproduce the fault we will return the record, return postage will need to be paid by the customer. Before sending records back please email us at info@happyvalleyshop.com
Some record players will not play some records, we recommend that you use a record player that can be adjusted if needed (including tone arm weight, anti-skate, tone arm height). If the problem persists after making any turntable adjustments we suggest trying the record on another turntable. Records, even new records, should be cleaned with professional cleaning solutions.
With Crosley, Fenton, Flea Market players and other briefcase/cheap non-adjustable style players WE WILL NOT accept returns due to skipping or any other fault if this is your player.
A small degree of warp is common, turntable tonearms are designed to compensate for it. Unless a warp or surface scratches/marks affect playback we don't do exchanges/refunds. As vinyl is a handmade product, sometimes there are small chips or irregularities on vinyl edges. Also bubbles on the inner labels sometimes occur. Unless playback is affected, we don't exchange/refund.
If we can replicate your playback issue, we will offer an exchange (depending on availability of stock) or refund.
Colour variant releases may look slightly different to the pack shot images record labels provide retailers. It is also common for some vinyl colour pigment to vary as each vinyl is unique. This does not affect vinyl playback and we don't exchange/refund due to this factory manufacturing process.
