Air - Talkie Walkie (Vinyl)
180 Gram Vinyl Reissue with Download Card and original artwork.
'Talkie Walkie' is the fourth full-length album by Air, released on 27 January 2004. Happily, 'Talkie Walkie' reunites us with the Air that we love: two hopelessly indulgent romantics with an ear in the past and an eye on the future. It's meltingly good stuff - a collection of cool, cosmic pop songs that dispense with notions of time and space, wallowing instead on a cloud of poignant psychedelia. With vocal duties this time taken by the boys themselves, and gorgeously fragile strings courtesy of Serge Gainsbourg collaborator, Michel Colombier, they get off to a good start. Perhaps the introduction of an outside producer, in this case Radiohead's Nigel Godrich, has forced such beautifully measured focus? Whatever, touchy-feely epics such as the heavenly 'Cherry Blossom Girl' sit well next to electronic masterpieces such as 'Ran', whose enveloping tracked vocals recall the 10cc classic 'I'm Not in Love'.

Best $35 I've spent in a while. Not a particularly hard puzzle (completed in under 2 hours) but what it lacks in challenge it makes up for in cute. Loved that it wasn't a traditional jigsaw shape.
I bought this for my husband for Father’s Day . He loves it! It was carefully packaged and wrapped . 5+ stars
The service from these guys is exemplary, and I was happy to score a bundle of albums on sale. I shouldn't be surprised to find that these reissues and remasters and anniversary editions sound absolutely woeful, however. The Wall - lifeless and underwhelming. Rumours - flat, muffled, lacking in dynamics and sparkle. Air - Safari, Nirvana - In Utero... and plenty more. All sonically disappointing, even streaming beats these versions. The only highlight was Cigarettes After Sex - one of the best things I've had the pleasure to wrap my earholes around in half a century. The takeaway? Don't blow your wedge on easy to buy represses, take the time to hunt out the real deal on Discogs or wherever.
best album i have listened to in a long time. absolutely LOVE the pink record too.
No skip album! Lovely to have a physical copy of it now!
