With their seventh studio album Junk (2016), M83 set out to craft what they called “an organized mess”—a collection of songs that shouldn’t belong together but somehow do. The album spans from the fractured yet infectious opener “Do It, Try It,” blending old-school house pianos with pop art hooks, to “Solitude,” a cinematic, melancholic epic that has since gone viral on TikTok. This new color vinyl repress of the album comes on Galaxy Blue double vinyl, with an etching on side D.
