Blonde Redhead - Melody Of Certain Damaged Lemons (Vinyl)
This trio, consisting of singer/guitarist Kazu Makino and twin brothers Amedeo and Simone Pace (singer/guitarist and drummer/programmer, respectively), got their name from a song by DNA, the early-80's No Wave band from NYC. Their beginning is one that reads like fiction: the three, gastronomes all, coincidentally meet at a New York restaurant and, over a meal, sow the seeds of a band that would go on to become one of the underground's most beloved groups.
