Since forming in 2020, Dinner Party have kept blurring the edges of jazz, soul, and hip-hop with serious warmth, sharp musicianship, and that easy chemistry that feels completely natural. After their Grammy-nominated 2020 self-titled debut, the Dinner Party: Dessert reimagining, and 2023's Enigmatic Society, Whatchu Bringing? finds them fully in sync.
The album lands just after two 2026 Grammy nominations for co-founder Terrace Martin. His album with Kenyon Dixon, Come As You Are, was nominated for Best Progressive R&B Album, while WeMaj featuring Rapsody earned a Best Melodic Rap Performance nod at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards.
It also follows a busy stretch for Martin, who spent early 2026 unveiling the four-part series Passion, Peace, Purpose, and Perspective, leading to Love Is Louder Than Algorithms. With Whatchu Bringing?, Dinner Party keep the door open and the invitation warm.
