With Morrison Hotel, the Doors returned in 1970 to the good old rock and combined influences from the blues with mystical echoes. Although that Album itself did not contain a big hit, it brought many fans back to the band and is regarded as one of the better Albums. Titles like Waiting for the Sun, but also the party song Roadhouse Blues became well known and The Spy gave an early impression of the music that would later follow in the album L. A. Woman
