Geese return with their third album, Getting Killed — a feral, fast-tracked record captured in just ten days with Kenneth Blume. Eschewing polish in favour of instinct, the band lean into shambolic structures and sharp contrasts, balancing tenderness with aggression and humour with despair.
Big riffs crash into choral samples, while hissy drum machines hum beneath squalling guitars. There's a raw theatricality to it all — a chaotic comedy held together by conviction. In swapping their love of classic rock for a nihilistic streak, Geese have crafted something both unhinged and exacting: a record that sounds like it’s coming apart at the seams, but on purpose.
