My Guardian Angel is a potluck of a project, frolicking through folk, punk, pop and beyond in hand sewn costumes. The band is lawless yet intentional, focused on what is playful, honest and full of love.
Front-person of beloved Naarm brat punk quintet The Vovos, Ada Duffy is a force to be reckoned with and a singular songwriter in the Australian underground. With this project, she brings her best friend Florence Lula along for the ride - what results is a collection of tender and intimate songs from an important perspective, blending bedroom sessions and iPhone demos with studio magic to create something unique and beautiful.
Ada and Florence are brilliant artists and musicians but above all best friends. Their music sounds as such - playful and honest, clever and intricate, cheeky and full of love.
