Modeled after trusty old Fodor’s and Michelin guides, On Location maps out the restaurants, bars, shops, parks, and museums used as sets in films ranging from Funny Girl (1968) to Men in Black (1997). Every listed location is still open and operating today, meaning visitors can order a steak like Miranda Priestley or hit a rave like Nicole Kidman. Features an introduction by Celine Song, whose films Past Lives (2023) and Materialists (2025) treat New York like the movie set that it is.
