Known for their bold impressions characterised by strategic slits and openings, stencil fonts are more than just fonts seen on spray-painted shipping crates or military-inspired paraphernalia. Instead, they are an expressive type that emphasise spacing, size, and arrangement to create impactful and dynamic text elements, often with a focus on geometric precision to allude to a sense of strength and contemporaneity.

A continuation of the Sans/Sans Serif in Use collection, this edition features a curated selection of stencil type specimens, their design applications, and the thoughts that go behind the craft. Stencil in Use collates the best typefaces for big canvases and serves as a reference point for inspiration- seeking designers and typographers alike.
