The Sweet Enoughs is the studio-based instrumental project led by Paul Bender, bassist and co-producer of the 3x GRAMMY-nominated group Hiatus Kaiyote, and joined by Hiatus bandmate Simon Mavin (keys), as well as Lachlan Mitchell AKA Laneous. Further expanding the project’s collaborative world, Another Serving Of also features guests Kenny Beats, Mayer Hawthorne and Molly Lewis who each bring their unique touch to the record’s elegant, timeless sound. Bender shares: “The Sweet Enoughs is really not like any other musical project I’ve ever done in my life. It really just happens quite effortlessly.”
Rooted in cinematic exotica, easy listening, and ambient soul, the first cut of the new album, ‘Ode To Ennio’ is a meditative tribute to legendary Italian composer, Ennio Morricone, renowned for over 400 film and television scores including The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Cinema Paradiso and The Mission.
